The Orbic RCL400 with RayHunter and DagShell installed is a compact LTE hotspot modified for privacy research, cellular awareness, and portable network diagnostics.

This unit comes preloaded with both:

RayHunter - an open-source cellular surveillance detection tool designed to identify suspicious cellular behavior, possible IMSI catcher activity, forced downgrade behavior, and abnormal tower conditions.

DagShell - a custom terminal-style firmware interface for the Orbic RCL400 that adds advanced network diagnostics, privacy controls, wardriving support, and field research utilities.

Together, RayHunter and DagShell turn the Orbic RCL400 into a powerful privacy-focused field device for researchers, network administrators, journalists, activists, hobbyists, and anyone interested in understanding the wireless environment around them.

RayHunter Installed

RayHunter provides cellular-network awareness and monitoring features intended to help detect suspicious tower behavior and possible cell-site simulator activity.

RayHunter may help identify:

• Possible IMSI catcher / Stingray-style activity
• Suspicious cellular tower changes
• Forced downgrade behavior
• Abnormal network behavior
• Cellular environment anomalies

RayHunter does not require an active SIM card for basic monitoring functionality.

The Rayhunter Dashboard can be viewed at 192.168.1.1:8080 once connected to wifi.

DagShell Installed

DagShell adds a terminal-inspired web interface with privacy, diagnostics, and network research tools.

DagShell features include:

• Self-signed certificate warnings may appear when accessing custom web interfaces. This is expected for locally hosted custom firmware.
