At STS Collective, we stand behind the quality of our products. Due to the nature of privacy and security hardware, we offer returns only for defective items and under specific conditions outlined below.

 

1. Defective Items Only

We accept returns only if the product arrives defective and the defect is clearly a manufacturer issue that existed before opening or use.

A return is not eligible if the item was damaged after delivery, misused, altered, or handled improperly.

 

2. Return Window

You must notify us of a defect within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Requests submitted after 30 days cannot be processed.

 

 

3. Condition Requirements

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be in its original condition

  • All accessories, packaging, and components must be included

  • The defect must be verifiable and consistent with pre-use damage

Returns based on misunderstanding the product, buyer remorse, or lack of technical knowledge will not be accepted.

 

4. Return Process

To begin a return:

  1. Email info@stscollective.com with your order number and a description of the issue

  2. Include photos or video documenting the defect

  3. Our team will review the claim and provide instructions if the return is approved

Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

 Note: Customer provides return shipping and a 3% restocking fee.

5. Refunds

If the return is approved:

  • A refund will be issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed once the item is received and inspected

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is confirmed defective

If the item is found to be non-defective, it will be returned to you at your expense.

 

6. Exchanges

We may offer a replacement unit for confirmed defective items if available.

If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.

 

7. Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Items used improperly or modified

  • Returns based solely on dissatisfaction or misunderstanding

  • Products with missing parts or packaging
