Choose your installed firmware using the Firmware selector. Your purchase includes one device with one selected firmware configuration installed, not multiple devices or all firmwares running together.
Hardware, power and included items
ATOM Echo with RGB LED, speaker, microphone and USB-C power. No battery. USB-C cable and power supply are not included.
What each firmware does
FlockYou Pro
For awareness of supported Flock camera Wi-Fi signatures. Scans supported 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi activity and reports potential matches through the device's available indicators. Standalone monitoring does not require a cloud account.
Eye Spy Pro
For awareness of supported Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signatures associated with trackers, cameras, ALPR equipment and supported drone broadcasts. Uses the screen or LED/audio indicators available on the selected hardware. Scheduled radio scanning and supported signatures determine coverage.
Home Assistant Voice Satellite
For voice interaction with an existing Home Assistant system through ESPHome and Assist. Uses the ATOM Echo microphone and speaker. Requires a separate Home Assistant host, configured Assist pipeline and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; initial onboarding is required. Wake-word availability depends on the configured pipeline. Optional cloud services may have separate charges.

Setup and limitations
Follow the documentation for your selected firmware and exact board. Wi-Fi/Bluetooth awareness tools report supported signatures and may produce false positives or miss devices. No alert does not establish that an area is free of surveillance. Home automation options need the separate host or controller described above. Reflashing replaces the installed firmware and may erase settings.
Images show individual firmware configurations; the selected option determines the firmware supplied. Screen content can vary with firmware version.

DIY flashing option
Flashing your own compatible device is usually manageable when you follow the project guide. STS Collective provides a ready-to-use flashed device for customers who prefer convenience. You do not need to buy a flashed unit to use the project.

Confirm the board revision, firmware target, power requirements, and current release before flashing. Reflashing replaces the installed firmware and may erase settings.
Hardware origin, packaging, and firmware
This listing uses standard off-the-shelf OEM hardware from the original hardware manufacturer. STS Collective is not the hardware manufacturer. The hardware supplied matches the hardware shown in this listing.
STS Collective develops and flashes STS firmware, or flashes firmware from the original developer identified below. Your order is packaged to represent the physical hardware, not the firmware. When original packaging is supplied, it is OEM packaging for the hardware model. Fulfillment handling sometimes removes original packaging or uses other shipping packaging. Packaging does not identify the firmware developer.

STS Collective flashes the identified firmware before shipment. The installed firmware does not change the source or manufacturer of the physical hardware.
