ESP32-C5 T-Dongle | Choose Biscuit DIY or Expansion Node Firmware

Choose your installed firmware using the Firmware selector. Your purchase includes one device with one selected firmware configuration installed, not multiple devices or all firmwares running together.

Hardware, power and included items

ESP32-C5 T-Dongle with 0.96-inch screen, dual-band Wi-Fi and USB-C power. Supplied with the selected Biscuit firmware installed. Provide USB power and the controller required by your selected option.

What each firmware does

Biscuit DIY

For a phone-connected DIY Biscuit setup controlled through Biscuit Manager. Requires a compatible phone and app setup. The device does not provide standalone GPS; location-dependent workflows use the phone. This option is not a controller for expansion nodes.

Biscuit Expansion Node

For adding a node to a compatible Biscuit Pro or Ultra setup. Requires that separate compatible manager device and pairing/configuration. It is not the phone-connected DIY firmware, and a DIY Biscuit is not a substitute for the required Pro/Ultra manager.

Setup and limitations

Follow the documentation for your selected firmware and exact board. Wi-Fi/Bluetooth awareness tools report supported signatures and may produce false positives or miss devices. No alert does not establish that an area is free of surveillance. Home automation options need the separate host or controller described above. Reflashing replaces the installed firmware and may erase settings.
